Customer Review: robs shower pressure
The valve assembly restricts the flow of water to the shower head even when it is fully open to the shower and closed to the water pik. I am returning this and purchasing another that appears to allow for better shower head water flow.
Customer Review: Works great!
I purchased this for my husband, and he loves it. Says it is very easy to use, and does a great job. He especially likes that there isn’t any messy apparatus to deal with on the vanity counter, and that it works off the water pressure in the shower. It was very easy to install.

Customer Review
- I’ve been using an oral irrigator as part of my dental hygienics for a long time. I use to be a Waterpik fan for many years until recently. My first Waterpik lasted over ten years. Fair enough for a home appliance. So about a year ago I bought their new model; big mistake. The cheap brittle hose snapped after a few months. Being a technically savvy sort I was able to get the machine apart, and reattach the hose. Then it started breaking at the handle. That took a little more finesse and some Super Glue. After the third time it broke off at the handle, I had my fill with a poorly made product.
So I went in search of an alternative. Oral Breeze’s Quikpik QuickPik – Dental Oral Irrigator was the answer for me. It attaches directly to your faucet where you can adjust the water pressure and temperature with you faucet. It does require you to replace your aerator, but that is not a difficult task. Once you’ve done that, you can simply attach and detach the unit at will.
Oh, did I mention it’s made like gang busters and has a life time warranty. And talk about customer service: I had a small problem with one of the tips (it comes with two), so I called Tom at the customer service number. No problem, he sent out two new tips at no extra cost and included a little gift of Therapics to boot. Wow!
I love this thing, no electricity , no ugly thing-a-ma-tub in the bathroom taking up space. I’m a convert, but I guess you figured that out by now.

HoMedics HD-IRR PowerDent Oral Irrigator with 4 Heads and Adjustable Spray
The HoMedics PowerDent oral irrigator is a stimulating supplement to brushing and flossing, designed to clean and invigorate teeth and gums with the cleaning power of pressurized water. A cleverly self-contained little station, the PowerDent features an attached irrigator handle and onboard jet tips, as well as its own removable water reservoir. Color-coded tips and variable water pressure accommodate multiple users, while variable water flow lets you choose from a stream setting for pinpoint cleaning or gentler hydromassage spray. HoMedics also looks after hygienic details on this unit–both the water reservoir and the irrigator tips have hinged lids to keep out dust and spray. Wrangling the handle cord may take a little getting used to, but the on/off buttons on both the handle and the base are notably convenient. The PowerDent can also be used with mouthwash in place of water. Mounting hardware and a one-year warranty are included. –Emily Bedard
Customer Review: Great Basic Unit
My husband has owned this unit for some time, and I just started using it. We haven’t had any problem with the cord…we think it’s a great basic unit, and like the 4 tips for multiple users. The only problem I have had is trying to locate different types of tips – not even sure they have them. We like the compactness of the unit, too.
Customer Review: don’t buy
This product seemed ideal at first. However, after a short time,(a few months) the coiled cord that connects the irrigation wand with the water receptacle began getting kinks in it. At first it was just one place, and I could try to straighten and hold that kink with one hand and use the irrigator with the other hand. However, now it kinks in a number of places and is virtually unusable. At this point I’ve had it less than a year and it’s headed for the trash.
Oral-B Sensitive (3 Extra-Soft Brush heads) The three replacement brush heads in this pack fit all Braun Oral-B electric toothbrushes. They have soft, rounded bristles in the center to protect the teeth from too-firm brushing. Long interdental tips on the edges clean deep between teeth and below the gum line and fade after prolonged use, indicating when a brush head needs replacing. The necks of the brush heads have removable color-code rings to identify individual brush heads for family members. –Fred Brack
Customer Review: Replacemnet Toothbrushes
I was totally pleased with the item especialy the price which is so important nowadays. The are same quality as the ones that originally came with the brush and I see absolutely no difference. I reccomend this product highly.
Customer Review: Good Dental Check ups
This is an excellent product. It is gentle on gums and teeth but does a very good job of cleaning and also controlling the formation of plaque. This results in minimum “medieval” type of cleaning with a sharp tool or the use of ultrasonic cleaner that they just love to use just above the gum which results in less discomfort after a vist to the dental hygienist. I recommend it highly. Read more... (544 words, 2 images, estimated 2:11 mins reading time)

Customer Review: Well worth the investment in your dental care!!!
My dentist recommended that I purchase a oral irrigator. I looked at various systems and read the reviews. I saw this one and purchased it May 2007. It still works well today. I brush, floss and then use the QuickBreeze. I have had no problems with it and it’s easy to use. The small price is well worth the investment in your dental care!!!
Customer Review: I love this product!!
This is one of the best product I purchased ever! I always dislike flossing but this product change all that! It is very easy to use and I can adjust the strength of the spray. It does not require electricity and it works! I find I am using this water pik multiple times a day and my gum is thanking me everyday. Thank you Oral Breeze for inventing this product:)

Hydrofloss has been shown in independent studies to be the best product ever invented for preventing, treating, and actually reversing gum disease. It flushes away food particles and massages your gums with a stimulating water jet while protecting your teeth against plaque with a controlled-strength magnetic flux field. Harmless free electrons neutralize bacteria and plaque formation at the molecular level.
The HydroFloss combines Magnetohydrodynamics with oral irrigation. By treating the water magnetically, this effects the ionization process. By reversing the polarity of the ions at the molecular level, it reduces surface tension and inhibits the ability of the bacteria to attach to the tooth surface thereby preventing the formation of calculus tartar). What’s the difference between the HydroFloss and other water irrigation devices? The HydroFloss provides 64% greater reduction in tartar (calculus) and bacterial debris according to the Journal of Clinical Periodontology. It’s not JUST water pressure like the leading oral irrigator. The HydroFloss uses magnetic technology to “pull” plaque, tartar, and bacterial debris off enamel and out from below the gumline. No other instrument can do this.
Reviews
I purchased the HydroFloss from my dentist after having repeated trouble with a WaterPik Ultra which I had previously purchased on Amazon. My dentist sold me the HydroFloss for $80, but I would gladly pay the $99 with free shipping. This product is so superior to the WaterPik…and so much more dependable. The water tank is larger, the cords are longer, and it never hesitates or shuts down due to low water levels. The pressure adjustment choices are excellent and there is no drippage from the handle or the tank. The tips that come with the unit are fine for most uses, even getting into the gums. If you want to massage the gum line, then I would suggest also purchasing the “Pocket Pal Jet Tips” which have rubber tips. Don’t bother with the “Sulcus” tips because they are not rubber coated and are very sharp. The only negative about this unit is the noise. It is louder and more high-pitched than the WaterPik, but that’s a small inconvenience compared to its excellent performance. I don’t have any opinion regarding the claim that magnets cause an ion change in the water…it’s not detectable. I will wait and see what the verdict is on the health of my teeth and gums at my next checkup, but I’m betting it will be positive!
